A man was arrested after reports of a domestic disturbance in Little Lever.
Police were called to Booth Road at 6pm.
Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of three counts of assault.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 6pm yesterday evening (23 June) officers responded to reports of a domestic incident on Booth Road, Little Lever.

“A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of three counts of assault.
Enquiries are ongoing.”
It is understood that two of the three assault counts relate to allegations made during his arrest.
