A man has been charged after an 80-year-old woman was robbed in Bolton.

Shane Allen, 33, of no fixed abode, was arrested by the local Neighbourhood Crime team.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court tomorrow (June 20).

The charge comes after an investigation into an incident on Back Mornington Road.
