Bolton at Home has put up three properties for sale by auction.
The housing association has properties for sale in Farnworth and Breightmet which will be going up for auction on Monday, June 24.
Houses and buildings owned by Bolton at Home tend to go on sale when they no longer “provide value for money” for tenants.
A spokesperson for Bolton at Home said: “We occasionally sell properties if they stop meeting our needs or no longer provide value for money for our tenants.
“Selling by auction is a way of ensuring we get a better sale price for the property. We use surveyors to help us come to a valuation for the reserve price, under which we will not sell.
“The proceeds of any sale are reinvested into our homes and services.”

A vacant semi-detached house situated on a corner plot is up for auction by Bolton at Home on Auction House North West.
The property is in need of refurbishment but comprises a hallway, lounge, kitchen, downstairs WC, three bedrooms and a bathroom.

The property is situated just off Buckley Lane and a short drive to the centre of Farnworth, Little Hulton and Farnworth, with excellent transport links to Bolton and Manchester.
