Bolton estate agents  who have raised more than a thousand pounds for Bolton Hospice - and are looking forward to their next challenge on Saturday.

Last year, Harrisons Estate Agents completed the £50 challenge raising £3155.89, by climbing Scafell Pike and hosting a coffee morning at Harrisons.

This year the team wanted to beat this total.

Harrisons hosted a coffee morning at the office on Friday, June 7.

This included a raffle with lots of amazing prizes donated from companies throughout Bolton and Harrisons raised a massive £1400.

Ashleigh Aldred said: “I wish we could do the coffee morning every Friday because it is amazing raising money for such an amazing charity."

The team are also climbing Old Man Coniston on June 22, while on July 27 from 2pm, the team will be doing a fancy dress pub crawl starting at Over Hulton, then to Atherton, and Westhoughton in a five-mile walk.

Katie Hibbert said: “Thank you to everyone that attended the coffee morning which helped us raise a massive £1400 for a charity so close to our hearts."

Special guests Cyril the Squirrel and the famous Peter Reid were at the coffee morning.

Kay Nolan said: “The best part of the day for me was dressing up as Bolton Hospice’s mascot 'Cyril the Squirrel' and raising £200 from passers-by."
