Four Bolton eateries have been awarded food hygiene ratings

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a four out of five and three eateries, three out of five food hygiene ratings.

The Courthouse (Image: Google Maps) The Courthouse, a pub, bar or nightclub at 4 Mawdsley Street, Bolton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 16.

The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building was generally satisfactory.

Three eateries have also been awarded three out of five food hygiene ratings.

Paratha Stop (Image: Iram Patel) Paratha Stop limited, a takeaway at Unit 2b, Horsfield Street, Bolton was given a score of three on May 8.

The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are both generally satisfactory.

The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.

And K's Grill, at 331 Wigan Road, Bolton was also given a score of three on May 9.

The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are both generally satisfactory.

It means that of Bolton's 447 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 247 (55 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
