A major road in Bolton was closed earlier today following a crash.
Emergency services were called to Wigan Road, Westhoughton, at around 4pm.
It is understood a teenage girl was hit by a car.
A vehicle was seen off the road in the aftermath of the collision.
The crash took place near the border with Wigan at Hart Common.
Posting on Facebook, ward councillor David Chadwick said: "Accident on Wigan Road at Hart Common.
"Please be aware that the road is shut in both directions following an accident. I hope everyone involved is OK."

Former councillor Anne Marie Watters said: "It happened at about 3.50pm.
"We were driving after it happened. A car looked like it should have been heading towards Hindley and had come into a fence."
She added that a teenage girl was struck by a car and was taken to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
A nearby resident said that a teenage girl had been taken to hospital in the aftermath of the collision.
The road reopened before 7pm and emergency services left the scene.
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for information about the incident.
