An 80-year-old woman was attacked and robbed at a supermarket cashpoint in Bolton on Thursday.
Sylvia Conway was at the cashpoint at Morrisons on Mornington Road in Heaton at around 6pm.
She felt she was being watched and was then attacked by a man.
Ms Conway was dragged across the floor and left bruised as the attacker stole her bag and other items including her bank card.
The woman got up and saw the man running away.
She has been left too frightened to leave her house as a result.

Her granddaughter Katie Conway has asked for anyone with information to contact police and has released a description of the offender.
She said: "She says the man was white, bald, with a large build and had a grey top and black pants on.
"I have had a few messages from people saying they have incidents have happened to them near there.
"She lives nearby in Heaton and has lived there for a number of years.
"There has never been anything like this that has happened before.
"She is really shaken up.
"We just want to find them.
"We have got to a place where my grandmother is not going to want to go out for a long time.
"It is going to scar her.
"We just want to look for any information."
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed an investigation is ongoing into the robbery and no arrests have been made.
