Blackburn with Darwen Police have currently closed a road in Rivington due to a vehicle crash.
At approximately 7:20pm on Tuesday, June 11, Blackburn with Darwen Police posted on X that they were at the scene between Belmont and Rivington on Rivington Road.
They anticipate it will be closed for some time and will provide an update when it is cleared.
Chorley Police are also at the scene.
A spokesperson for Blackburn with Darwen Police said: "We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on Rivington Road which is closed between Belmont and Rivington.
"The road is closed due to a road traffic collision and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.
"We’ll provide an update once cleared."
AA Live Traffic site reports: "Road closed due to crash on Rivington Road both ways from A675 High Street to Sheep House Lane."
