A car led police on a short chase before being stopped and the driver arrested.

The car was seized and the driver was found to have cannabis and no insurance.

The driver was arrested following the checks by officers.

A spokesman for GMP said: "This car has been seized by officers from the #Bolton North Neighbourhood Team last night.

"Officers spotted the vehicle overtaking others whilst patrolling in #TongeMoor. When the driver clocked our officers, it made off at speed.

"It was then later sighted by the same officers coming off Crompton Way towards Bury Road, again, it made off at high speed away from police.

"A short pursuit ensued and after disappearing on Dorchester Avenue, decided to pull over for us."

They say that on searching his car they found a range of Class A, B and C drugs.
