Bolton: Three eateries receive new food hygiene ratings

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a four out of five hygiene rating and two eateries a three out of five hygiene rating.

A new food hygiene rating has been awarded to one of Bolton’s golf clubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good whilst the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.

Pepes Piri Piri, a restaurant at Unit V2 The Vaults, The Market Place, Bolton was given the score after assessment on April 24, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.

The inspection report states the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good whilst the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory.

It means that of Bolton's 444 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 247 (56 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
