Summer is approaching, and what better way to celebrate it than with a good festival? Here are six in Bolton and the surrounding area that have something special to offer.

Right to Roam

Every July, venues across Bolton town centre join together for the Right to Roam Festival.

Revellers will rock out to dozens of upcoming bands and acts, as well as some legends, such as 80s and 90s Forest of Dean indie band EMF, and Middleton post-punk heroes The Chameleons.

The festival will hit the town on July 5 and 6, with admission for both days only costing £15.
