The opening date for Market Place Centre's new store has been announced.

Deichmann is set to bring its signature style and flair to the line-up of footwear and fashion retailers in the retail and leisure centre.

It will stock designer brands, such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Crocs, when the new store opens on Tuesday, June 11.

Once the store begins trading, shoppers will be able to participate in a ‘Spin the Wheel’ competition, in which customers are in with a chance of winning free shoes and other giveaway items, on June 15 and 16, June 22 and 23, June 29 and 30 and August 6 and 7.

The Bolton store will stock a full range of footwear for the whole family as well as bags, and accessories such as sunglasses, purses, wallets, socks, hats and toys.

There are certain styles that are online exclusives and are not available in store but these can be ordered in the store and shipped to the customer's home.

Rachel Townsend, general manager at Market Place Centre, said: “We are delighted to welcome Deichmann to the centre, marking a significant addition and reflecting the confidence retailers have in our town, especially with the upcoming Primark move later this year.

“We can't wait for our customers to view the new collections and utilise the exclusive discounts available.”

The news of Deichmann’s arrival joins the ever growing line up of tenants at Market Place.

Popular fashion retailer Primark previously announced their relocation from Crompton Place to Market Place, with an opening date earmarked for later this year.

It was revealed that the Card Factory is also looking to open a store in the centre after a planning application was submitted for the old Body Shop unit.
