"This course will enable team members to recognise and assist with mental health situations they might come across on a call-out, for example mental health problems in those affected by suicide, bereavement, dementia, or bipolar disorder.
"Thanks to funding from Asda, and with the help from their Community Champion Christine Baldwin of Astley Bridge Asda, the team will now be able to offer 16 team members. that’s a quarter of the membership, a course leading to the Level 3 First Aid Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health.
"Bolton MRT would like to express our sincere thanks to Asda and to Christine for this valuable support."
