A search is on to find a man police want to speak to in connection with an “attempted murder.”
This comes after an incident on Wentbridge Road, Halliwell on Tuesday, May 21 where police say a man was hit by a vehicle.
Officers say they are now looking for 20-year-old Daanyall Jamshad in connection with their investigation.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Daanyaal Jamshad is wanted in connection with an attempted murder that occurred in Bolton on Tuesday 21 May 2024.
“At around 9.20pm on Tuesday May 21 2024, officers received reports of a man being hit by a vehicle on Wentbridge Road, Bolton.
“He was subsequently taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
“Jamshad is known to have links to the Bolton area of Greater Manchester.”
Police have now released an image of Jamshad and have urged anyone who may recognise him or who may have any information about his whereabouts to come forward,

Witnesses can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
Members of the public have been urged to always call 999 in the event of an emergency as soon as it is safe to do so.
