A GP surgery which shut suddenly last week is to reopen tomorrow.
Ladybridge Surgery was forced to close last Thursday after a 'major leak' and Bolton Community Practice, of which the surgery is part of, warned patients that the surgery would be closed 'for the foreseeable future'.
Ward councillor Andy Morgan has been in touch with the landlord of the building who told him that the issue should now be resolved after work was carried out and it's hoped the surgery can reopen this week.

The councillor had expressed concerns about elderly patients being able to access medical advice and patients had raised issues about attending other practices in the group, which fall under the Bolton Community Practice Group.
Cllr Morgan, ward councillor for Heaton, Lostock and Chew Moor said “The landlord has contacted me and said that roofers attended to carry out repairs.
"I would hope that the practice will facilitate the opening ASAP and advise patients accordingly.”
Now Bolton Community Practice has said the surgery will reopen tomorrow, in a post on its social media page and website.
It states: "We are pleased to inform you that Ladybridge Surgery will re-open on Wednesday 29th May at 8am. We apologise for any inconvenience the closure may have caused and would like to thank you all for your co-operation during the closure.
"If you need to contact the surgery on Tuesday 28th May please telephone us on 01204 463444. Phone lines will be open as usual 8am-6.30pm."
The message posted on its website states: "We are pleased to inform you that Ladybridge Surgery will re-open on Wednesday 29th May at 8am. We apologise for any inconvenience the closure may have caused and would like to thank you all for your co-operation during the closure."
