A “leading” building and engineering company opened its new office in Kearsley last week.
Kilkern Ltd specialises in highways and civil engineering projects and last week opened their new office and depot on Stoneclough Road, Keasley.
Bolton South East MP Yasmin Qureshi was on hand to attend the official opening.
Speaking after the opening on Saturday, she said: “[It was] one of my last actions as a Member of Parliament before the election begins and I can't think of anything better than opening a new business in my constituency.
“Today, I visited Kilkern to officially open their new office and depot on Stoneclough Road, Kearsley.
“Kilkern are an industry leading construction and civil engineering company.
“They have chosen Kearsley as a strategic location for their business providing great access to all parts of the country.

“I am delighted to have them in Bolton for years to come and I am looking forward to working with them on various projects, if I am elected on July 4.”
In the upcoming general election the Bolton South East Constituency, which includes Great Lever, Farnworth and Kearsley, will be reconstituted as Bolton South and Walkden.
Ms Qureshi will go up against Conservative candidate Mohammed Afzal, Liberal Democrat Gemma-Jane Bowker, Julie Pattison of Reform UK and Jack Khan of the Workers Party of Britain.
