There is good news for four of Bolton’s eateries as they are awarded high marks in recent food hygiene inspections, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries a four out of five, and one eatery a three out of five hygiene rating.
A Bolton restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Farnworth, was given the score after assessment on May 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Dolce Gelato, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 313 Plodder Lane,The inspection report states both the management of food safety, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory.
New food hygiene ratings of four out of five have also been awarded to two of Bolton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens.
Blue Lounge, at 152-154 Derby Street, Bolton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 10.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.

Rishi's, at 45 Market Street, Westhoughton, Bolton was also given a score of four on April 10.
The inspection report states the management of food safety is very good, the hygienic food handling is good, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
A Bolton takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Erbil Shawarma, a takeaway at 213 Halliwell Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on May 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection report states all areas of the eatery are generally satisfactory.
Of Bolton's 355 takeaways with ratings, 141 (40 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
It also means that of Bolton's 443 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 244 (55 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
