Police acting on a tip off arrested two men on suspicion of drug dealing.
Officers from Operation Venture, tasked with preventing, deterring, and tackling knife crime, and associated offences, made two arrests yesterday (Monday 13 May 2024) in Bolton based on public information.
They say the were alerted to drug dealing taking place from a vehicle on Kay Street and quickly responded, stopping the vehicle in tow.
Two men, both aged 20, were stopped, and approximately 65 small bags of cocaine, four phones, and a small amount of cash were seized.
They remain in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. The vehicle has also been seized after it was found to have no insurance.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "This is an example of what community information allows us to do – take action against local issues blighting communities."
