A number of people from Bolton have recently been banned from the roads after driving with excessive amounts of cannabis in their system.
A change to the law in 2015 mean it is an offence to drive above certain limits of certain illegal or prescription drugs.
According to the Police UK website the limit set for each drug is different, and for illegal drugs the limits set are extremely low.
They aren't zero to rule out any accidental exposure - for example from passive smoking.
The law was changed to make it easier to catch and convict drug drivers and to enable roadside testing.
And a number of motorists from Bolton have recently been banned after driving under the influence of excessive cannabis.
Tariq Mitha drove a BMW on Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, with excessive cannabis in his system in August last year.
The 24-year-old admitted the offence at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Mitha, from Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge, was placed on a community order to last for a year.
He was ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work and was banned from the roads for 20 months.
Max Rimmer drove with the drug in his system at excessive amounts in a Vauxhall on Halliwell Road, Halliwell, Bolton, in October last year.
The 21-year-old admitted the offence at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Rummer, from Cousin Fields, Bromley Cross, was banned from the roads for a year and fined £120.

Connor Stevenson drove with excess cannabis in his system in a Volkswagen Passat on Higher Bridge Street in the centre of Bolton.
The 32-year-old admitted the offence at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Stevenson, from Dalymount Close, Tonge, Bolton, was banned from the roads for a year.
Sufyann Kaify drove with excess amounts of cannabis and a derivative of cocaine in his system.
The 22-year-old admitted the two offences at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Kaify, from Plodder Lane, Farnworth, was banned from the roads for a period of one year.
Additionally he was hit with a fine of £200.
