Hundreds of pounds have been raised for churches in a Bolton village.
The funds were raised by the 'Community Champions' at Little Lever's Tesco branch, Vicky Haslam and Leanne Rogerson.
They organised a 'fun day' to source the cash, aiming to split the proceeds evenly between the churches of the village.
After all was said and done, they raised a total of £320 for the cause.

Vicky, Leanne and Store Manager James Mollekin went around the churches to hand out the proceeds.
A Community Champion at Tesco is an employee who organises charitable work at their store.
They manage a small community donation budget that can be used for financial support for community groups or events, and are also the point of contact for charities and community groups wishing to visit the store.
