The start of spring proved to be a busy time for the courts in Bolton and beyond.
Over the course of April the courts dealt with burglary, sex offences, a corrupt police officer and even murder.
What follows are the names, faces and crimes of seven people jailed in April.
Edwin Luke, 27 of Radcliffe Road, Darcy Lever, sexually assaulted a teenage girl on the top deck of a bus as she sat on her own.
He was jailed for 14 months and put on the sex offenders register for 10 years.

Danny Parmer, 42, was one of a group of organised criminals involved in a large scale drugs and guns plot.
He went by the name "Vicious Swan" when conducting his illicit deals on messaging platform Enchrochat.
Parmer, of Duddon Road, Breightmet, was jailed for nine years.

Joseph Dearden, 28, badly injured an innocent man in a crash he caused after drinking seven pints of beer and five shots.
He was finally brought before the courts last month after causing the crash nearly three years ago.
Dearden, of Hathaway Drive, Sharples, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison and banned from the roads for four years.

Akeel Kadir, 54 of Kilburn Road, Orrell, was working as a police officer in the Bolton district when he handed over the details of crash victims to an insurance claims company.
He was sentenced to 15 months in prison.`

Gemma Fletcher, 35, stole a vulnerable woman's purse and medication while she was staying in a hotel.
She had previously worked as a nurse before spiralling into addiction and crime.
Fletcher, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 20 months.

Daniel Kardos, 31 of Fearnley Avenue, Chadderton, was finally tracked down four years after taking part in a burglary in Bolton.
He was sentenced to a year and ten months in prison.

Obert Moyo, 46, murdered his ex-partner Perseverance Ncube in front of her two young children.
He has already been on licence after his release from prison for attacking another ex-partner of hers.
Moyo was given a life sentence with a minimum term of 27 years in prison.
