Police and fire services were called to an incident in Bolton town centre this evening.
Firefighters were called to Chancery Lane at around 6.30pm to "assist police with an incident".
Photographs show fire and police vehicles on Great Moor Street and Back Bradshawgate, near to the derelict block of student flats.

A GMFRS spokesperson said: "(Firefighters) attended Chancery Lane, Bolton, just before 6.30pm today (Sunday, April 28) to assist police with an incident."
They did not specify the nature of the incident.
One eyewitness said: "Large emergency response on Great Moor Street, at the back of The Balmoral in the derelict flats."
Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment on this incident.
