A man has been charged after two police officers were injured in a crash that saw a van overturned this weekend.
The crash happened on Kendal Road and Holden Road in Leigh at around 7.40am on Saturday April 20.
A man was arrested at the scene and police have now confirmed that they have charged Nathan Price, 33, with a string of alleged offences in connection with the incident.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 22 April.
“These charges are in connection with a road traffic collision which took place on Kendal Road and Holden Road on Saturday April 20.”
People in Leigh reported seeing a what appeared to be a "police chase" followed by van overturning after what appeared to be a crash that morning on Holden Road.

Six police cars and two fire engines were seen in the area, while two police cars appeared to have been looked over by a mechanic before having to be towed away for repair.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that two officers reported injuries and were treated at the scene, but no members of the public appeared to have been injured.
Price, of Keswick Place, Ince, has been charged with three counts of attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving without insurance.
