A cannabis farm was discovered this week as police raided a house in Bolton after receiving “intelligence from the community".
Officers raided the home on Thicketfold Road, Tonge Moor, on the afternoon of Thursday, April 18.
They say that they discovered 72 plants as part of the farm, which they have now seized ahead of being destroyed, and that they will investigate to find the culprits.
On Thursday, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “This afternoon, officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team have executed a drugs warrant at a house on Thicketford Road.
“A cannabis farm consisting of 72 plants was located.
“These have been seized and will be destroyed, enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible.
“This warrant was possible due to the information provided to the police from the community.”
