A number of Bolton and Bury bus services are in for a big boost thanks to the rollout of 20 additional buses in and around the boroughs.
It comes after the arrival of the Bee Network in the area via Tranche 1 on September 24 last year and Tranche 2 on March 24 this year.
Already, according to Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), Bolton and Bury bus services are seeing the benefits with 84.4 per cent of Tranche 1 services leaving on time last week. This is around 16 percentage points more than the proportion of pre-Bee Network services leaving on time this time last year.
They are in for another big boost thanks to the rollout of 20 additional buses in and around the boroughs, as well as in Salford, Wigan, and on the V1 and V2 Guided Busways.
