And finalist of Britain’s Got Talent, Maxwell Thorpe, will be performing at the Last Drop Village Hotel in the charity ball, proving to be one of the great attractions of the event.

The ball will not only raise money for the two charities, but it will also help local businesses promote their services and support across the region.

Alan Wareham, President of Rotary Bolton Lever and one of the organisers of the event, said: “With the Charity Ball having its own website, we can use this to make everyone in Bolton and beyond aware of those who help support Bolton Hospice and Bolton Mental Health Independent Support Team, before and on an ongoing basis after the Charity Ball on 11th of May.

"The ball is bringing together like-minded people who want to not only help but invest in our community here in Bolton.

“To have The Bolton News lend their support makes the people of Bolton aware of the event and in turn Bolton Hospice and Bolton Mental Health Independent Support Team.”

The Charity Ball has also been promoted by Bolton FM which was organised by Emma Mitson, Fundraiser and Corporate & Community Lead from Bolton Hospice.

Andrew Dickson, one of the founders and presenters at Bolton FM spoke to Bernard Murphy, Alan Wareham (Two of the organisers from Rotary Bolton Lever) and Emma Mitson about the Charity Ball and helped raise awareness not only of the event but of how it will support Bolton Hospice and Bolton Mental Health Independent Support Team.
