Two drivers were taken to hospital for treatment after a head-on crash in Egerton.
The emergency services attended Blackburn Road at around 4.45pm on Monday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said two drivers were taken to hospital for treatment after a head-on crash between two vehicles. Their condition was not revealed.
There is an appeal to the public for footage from the area of Blackburn Road or information about the incident.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At around 4.45pm yesterday a two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred on Blackburn Road. One vehicle collided with another head on.
"Both drivers were taken to hospital for treatment."
