A fun run is back after five years.
Bolton Hospice announced that it is bringing back The Bubble Rush, on Sunday, September 8.
Participants of all ages are invited to join in the bubbly extravaganza at Queen's Park, Chorley New Road, Bolton.
The Bubble Rush is a 5k route filled with visits to eight vibrant bubble stations, creating a lively and colourful atmosphere.
More than just a day of fun, the event aims to raise vital funds to ensure Bolton Hospice can continue to be there for local people living with life-limiting illnesses.
Fundraising manager Angela Griffiths said: "We're delighted to reintroduce the Bubble Rush to our Bolton Hospice events calendar, offering our community a chance to come together for a day of fun and fundraising.
"By participating in the Bubble Rush, you're not only enjoying a brilliantly bubbly day with your family, but also ensuring Bolton Hospice can continue to be there for other families when they need us most.
“Last week we announced that we’d be taking a break from our My Memories Walk event, but that we’d be bringing back another popular event for September 2024.
"We hope that our supporters will be excited for the return of Bubble Rush, and the chance to raise vital funds for the hospice while taking on the fun- and bubble-filled 5k route.”
In addition to the bubble-filled course, participants can enjoy live entertainment and will receive a Bubble Rush medal upon completion.
The last time Bolton Hospice hosted the event was in 2019.
The run has no time set and people are free to just have fun running amid bubbles.
Runners have donned colourful wigs and clothing in the past.
People from all corners of Bolton and the North West took part in 2019's event.
