Traffic is set to be reduced in one area of Bolton while vital refurbishment works are undertaken.
There will be refurbishment works to the underside of Eagley Brook Bridge on Crompton Way, the council has said.
The works are planned to start on Monday, April 22 and will take approximately 14 weeks and to facilitate these works westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane between Hallbridge Gardens and Van Leeuwen.

A council spokesperson said: “Bolton Council would like to give advanced notice of refurbishment works to the underside of Eagley Brook Bridge, Crompton Way.
“These works are planned to start on April 22 for approximately 14 weeks.
“To facilitate these works, it will be necessary to reduce west bound traffic down to one lane, between Hallbridge Gardens and Van Leeuwen.
“Every effort will be made to keep possible disruption to a minimum.
“Bolton Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused to local residents and road users, your patience would be appreciated during this time.”
