A woman has expressed her shock after being at home when a car drove into the wall outside her home.
The crash took place on Higher Ainsworth Road yesterday at around 6.30pm.
The woman, who asked not to be named, has lived in the property for 60 years and the wall has been there that entire time.

But on Saturday evening she was in the front room as the car crashed into it and left it demolished.
She said: "I was in at the time.
"I was watching TV in the front too.
"It was terrifying.
"I came out and I saw the car.
"I do not know how much it will cost to repair it, I have not been able to get through to home insurance at the weekend.
"I will repair it as I am not leaving it like that.
"I have been in this house for 60 years, I have never seen anything like this before but there is a problem with speeding.
"The wall has been here for the 60 years."
