Police have been carrying out parking enforcement checks in Deane and warned officers will hand out tickets to motorists who disregard the rules.
This includes to drivers parking in bus lanes when they are operational.
Police officers say they are out checking whether motorists are complying with the highway code.
A GMP spokesperson for Bolton South said: "Local officers continue to complete patrols of Deane Road due to ongoing issues with vehicles parking in the bus lane.
"The area will continue to be monitored and tickets will be issued to these vehicles."

Motorists can face a fine of up to £70 if they drive in the wrong lane in Bolton.
Police were also on Deane Road last month as part of an operation aimed at tackling traffic offences.
On that occasion a high visibility patrol took place.
Motorists face fines for up to £70 for driving in bus lanes at certain times in the days running up to the cameras being switched on.
There are currently 14 bus lanes across the borough and enforcement was previously been carried out by traffic wardens and the police.
The hours of operation of bus lane enforcement are in line with Greater Manchester’s standard times which aim to bring consistency across the region. Most of the areas affected will be from 7am-10am and 4pm-7pm on week days with some operating all day every day.
