Police said they have seized two motorbikes following a crackdown on anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in Rivington.
Officers had been taking part in a joint operation in conjunction with United Utilities, the Rivington Heritage Trust and Chorley Council.
Officers carried out a number of vehicle checks which resulted in the seizure of two off road motorbikes for driving without valid insurance.
A police spokesperson said: "We will continue to run operations of this nature to keep our local beauty spot safe for people visiting area.
"As a result we have engaged with a number of local businesses, stakeholders and members of the public who have provided us with much needed information as to the problem areas.
"If you have any information regarding any crime in the Rivington area you can report these anonymously via crime stoppers or email your local officer PC Cross on 2659@lancashire.police.uk"
