Police called to a burglary ended up discovering a cannabis farm.
Officers attended an incident at an address in Halliwell on Friday, April 5.
And they found four rooms filled with "around 100" cannabis plants.
Police have since seized the plants, but it is unclear whether any arrests have been made.
A spokesperson for GMP's Bolton North Neighbourhood Team said: "Halliwell - Yesterday PC Rothwell attended a report of an ongoing burglary, however on arrival she discovered four rooms full of around 100 cannabis plants.
"The plants have now been seized."

This is one of a number of cannabis farms discovered in and around Bolton.
Police uncovered a cannabis farm at a property on Halliwell Road in February.
Officers seized 70 plants at that property and said that electricity meter had been bypassed, posing a potential risk to residents living nearby.
Police discovered a cannabis farm while making an arrest on a day of action against vehicle crime in January.
