A road in Smithills is set to be closed towards the end of this month for vital electricity works.
The back of Ivy Road will be closed from April 22 for approximately three days whilst works are ongoing.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on the back of Ivy Road West and the back of Cope Bank West to allow electricity works to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, the council is asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
The local authority apologises for any inconvenience the closures may cause.
