More than 600 people had an 'eggs-cellent' time taking part in a traditional Easter activity.
Children enjoyed taking part in the Easter Egg Hunt organised by The Hub at Westhoughton.
Sticks with corresponding numbers on were planted and the children picked a raffle ticket to find the corresponding number, which could have been anywhere on the field.
The event was opened by the Mayor of Westhoughton, Councillor Deirdre McGeown, there was arts and crafts, disco and entertainment at the free event.
When the children collected their sticks from the field, they brought them back to reception and handed them over in exchange for an Easter Egg .
