A school in Ladybridge has been recognised as one of the top performing schools in the country for its attendance record.
A new measurement for the Department for Education has ranked Beaumont Primary School in the top 10 per cent nationally and in the top five in Bolton.
Headteacher of of the school, Stacey Postle, says she is really proud of the pupils and thrilled to have achieved this.
Mrs Postle said: “At Beaumont Primary, we are committed to providing our pupils with an exceptional education that not only nurtures their academic potential, but also fosters a love for learning and personal growth.

“One of our proudest achievements is our exceptional attendance record, which reflects the strong sense of community and commitment to learning that permeates our school.

In November last year the school received a glowing report from Ofsted after being given a "good" rating.
The inspection found pupils, including those with additional educational needs, were said to "achieve highly" with the school being “fiercely ambitious for all pupils”.
The school was also recognised for its “extraordinary” Key Stage 2 results in 2023.
