A beast hunter says he has uncovered evidence of a “big cat kill” that could have led him to the infamous “Beast of Bolton.”
Leon Howorth has become a well known figured on social media in recent times thanks to his investigations into strange and even paranormal phenomena around the country.
His most recent adventure has taken him to the wild yet picturesque slopes of Winter Hill, where he believes he may have found the lair of “The Beast of Bolton.”
Leon said: “I uploaded my evidence online, a couple of weeks ago to various online sources.
“Up to now nobody has come up with any excuse as to what has killed this deer, apart from the obvious big cat kill!"
In the first of Leon’s Bolton themed videos, he shows viewers a dead and disembowelled deer, which he believes could have been savaged by a big cat.
The video, uploaded to YouTube on Sunday March 3 shows Leon and his companion Sean going over evidence of what he calls a “textbook big cat kill.”
In the video, Leon says that the disembowelled deer’s skull appears to have been “licked” with a “raspy tongue.”
Further along the trail they find a deer’s back leg, which they believe could have been the work of the big cat.
In a follow up video published on Sunday March 24 the intrepid beast hunters try to trace the Beast of Bolton’s lair around Winter Hill.
Fortunately, Leon is already an experienced hand, having racked up thousands of YouTube subscribers thanks to his beast tracking exploits.
Previously videos have seen him tracking supernatural and paranormal phenomena including a Werewolf, “Dogman” and “Big Foot’s Little Helpers” all over the country.
But his discovering of the “textbook big cat kill” near Winter Hill is just the latest evidence of the beast that is said to stalk the countryside around Bolton.

The first known sighting was back in 2006 when a teacher said she saw the creature as she looked out of her bedroom window in Spring Meadows, off Radcliffe Road in Darcy Lever.
Other sightings were reported years apart in some cases, including 2017 in Little Lever and in Farnworth in 2015.
Only this January a dog walker in reported spotting the Beast of Bolton in a field off Cox Green Lane in Egerton.
The latest attempts to track down the beast, along with all his other adventures, can be found on Leon Howorth’s YouTube channel, known as “Do it Noel’s Way.”
