Police are continuing to investigate after a fight broke out among several men on a street in Bolton and a car windows were smashed in.
They confirmed no arrests have been made.
Officers swarmed Cannon Street, Deane, at around 4.30pm yesterday after reports of an altercation.
No serious injuries are thought to have been sustained in the fight - but a white car with its front and rear windows smashed in was on the scene, and later taken away.
Police carried out enquiries and left the scene, near the Manchester Superstore, after the damaged vehicle was recovered.
A GMP spokesperson confirmed today that no arrests have been made.
A statement previously said: "It is believed that several men were involved in an altercation.
"There have been no reports of serious injuries at this time."
One person who witnessed the events was John Robinson.
He said: “The front and back windows have been done in.
“I was there at around 5pm and saw around six police vehicles."
