A Bolton pub has gone on sale after owners decided to “move on.”
The Seven Stars, located on Lea Gate, Harwood, is listed on the market, after customers told The Bolton News it has closed.
It has been listed as up for sale by Savills who state that the price will be given when an application is made.
A spokesperson for Savills said: “We are waiting to clear it out. We are waiting to gain access before we will be able to do any viewings.
“There are a lot of pubs for sale now because people are moving on. It is not under receivership.
“It is just that people have moved on.”
One customer said: "It was popular on Saturday nights they always has live entertainment.
"It was a part of the Harwood scene for many years and it is a shock to find it closed."
The property is not believed to be listed or within a conservation are and is currently closed for trade while the sale takes place.
Savills is the sole selling agent.

As well as an outside garden the pub had offered a quiz night on a Thursday, traditional pub games and also live music in the form of karaoke nights or bands performing on both Fridays and Saturdays.
The freehold pub contains a beer patio and terrace as well as a kitchen and living accommodation upstairs.
On the first floor there is five bedroom and living accommodation.
It also has a beer cellar and store.
