Police remain on the scene as a murder investigation continues following the death of a 37-year-old.

Graham Cox's body was discovered in a property close to Barton Walk in New Bury over a week ago after police were called to a concern for welfare.

Officers have remained on the scene with specialist teams being drafted into the area since March 5 when Mr Cox was discovered.

One resident says there has been at least one Crime Scene Investigation van in the area most days.

The tactical aid unit was there early this week, as well as plain clothes offices, with police remaining at the scene 24/7.
