A teenage boy was robbed of his bike at knifepoint by a balaclava clad men, police say.
The 15-year-old boy was chased by two men, one on an electric bike and one on moped, from Chatsworth Road, Worsley at around 6pm on Tuesday March 5.
One of them chased him down a small footpath leading to the White Horse pub before one of the men threated the boy with a “zombie-style” knife and took his bike, valued at around £4,000.
PC Dale McAllister, from Salford's Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: "This was a frightening incident for a young person to have to go through and he quite rightly he wants his bike back.
"Thankfully this type of incident is quite rare but we are hoping that someone in the area at the time may have seen something.”

Police say that the suspect had the knife in his waist band and that after forcing the boy off his bike he made off with it onto Worsley Road.
Officers have appealed for anyone with information, dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time to call them on 0161 856 5134 quoting log 2654-05/03/2024.
