A "beloved" radio DJ will host a carnival this summer.
Danny Matthews of Central Radio North West will be at Adlington Carnival this year, with the event scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
With years of experience in entertaining audiences across the airwaves, Danny will host the stages at the event.
It boasts live music performances, food stalls, rides and a dog show.
Danny said: "I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Adlington Carnival this year.
