A woman has been arrested on suspicion of being under the influence after a crash outside a school in Bolton.
Police were called at around 12pm today, Sunday, March 10, after a crash was reported outside Canon Slade School, on Tonge Moor Road.
Ambulance and police attended the scene where one person was treated for minor injuries.
A 24-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of being under the influence following the crash.
A spokesman for police said: "At around 12pm today (10 March 2024), officers responded to reports of an RTC in Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.
"Officers attended and one woman, aged 24, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
"One person has received minor injuries."
Traffic was held up on Tonge Moor Road, with long delays and queues for up to an hour according to one motorist.

One driver said: "I noticed that traffic was heavier than usual but police are dealing with it well.
"The crash is blocking one lane of traffic but it’s not causing too many issues."
No major injuries were reported in this incident and the accident was cleared in two hours.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service said they were not at the scene.
