A woman has been charged after a charity box was stolen in Bolton.
On Tuesday, February 27, police received reports that someone had entered a coffee shop on Bury New Road in The Haulgh and stolen a charity box from the counter.
Following an investigation by GMP's Initial Investigation Unit and the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team, a 44-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of theft.
Leanne Mills (12/11/1979) of no fixed address has now been charged with theft and has been remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court.
It comes as police in Bolton have given dispersal orders for the town centre following an increase of anti-social behaviour.
Three dispersal orders were given this week after numerous anti-social behaviour reports.
The order will give police officers increased powers to deal with people they suspect of causing trouble around the town.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Inspector Maddocks of the South Neighbourhood Team has authorised a dispersal order in Bolton Town Centre due to a recent increase in reports of anti-social behaviour.
"This will be in place from 3pm and 11pm today, and the below map outlines the area in which this order is in effect.”
A map supplied by police shows the powers in place within a large town centre area between Topp Way, St Peter’s Way, Trinity Street and Moor Lane.
