Two men were taken to hospital last night following reports of a stabbing.
At around 8.35pm on Friday 8 March, officers responded to reports of a stabbing in Spa Grove, Little Hulton.
Two men, aged 24 and 32, were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or changing.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is currently ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Ed Hooley, from GMP’s Salford district, said: “This was an incredibly concerning incident and I firstly want to reassure people that we believe this to be a targeted attack, with no threat to the wider public.
“Our officers are working at pace to piece together the facts of the incident and currently remain at the scene as they carry out their enquiries.
"Residents will see an increased presence in the area over the next few days.

"Those officers will be able to discuss any queries or concerns you may have.
