A heartbroken family have said 'no words' can describe the pain they are feeling after the death of a 37-year-old dad.

A 34-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder and has since been released on bail.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed the victim’s name as 37-year-old Graham Cox.

A spokesperson from Graham’s family said: “We are absolutely devastated and have no words to describe the pain we are feeling at this moment in time.

“We would like everyone to respect our privacy during this terrible situation."

A GoFundMe crowdfunding page has also been launched to raise money for his funeral.

Detective Inspector Stuart Woodhead, from GMP’s Bolton district, said: “I want to firstly reassure the community that we believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no wider threat to the community.

"We're keeping an open mind as we approach the investigation but are exploring all lines of enquiry.
