February saw a varied collection of cases brought before the courts after a busy start to the year.
Over the course of February the courts dealt with assault cases, dangerous driving and a rapist.
What follows are the names, faces and crimes of five people jailed in February.
Kyle Parker, 33, punched his partner as she tried to call for help.
He was found guilty of assault, intentional strangulation and breaching a restraining order.
Parker, of Longworth Road, Horwich, was jailed for 28 months.
Adam Degney, 30, raped a girl under the age of 13 multiple times and took indecent photos of her over the course of four years.
He also raped a woman and recorded indecent images of her.
Degney, from Bolton, was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Flavia Fernandes, 41, ripped the flesh off another woman's chin in an attack on Bolton.
A photograph taken afterwards showed the victim with a noticeable scar on her chin.
Fernandes, of Chorley Old Road, was jailed for 25 months and hit with a restraining order keeping her away from her victim for five years.
Tahir Afsar, 39, lead police on a high speed chase through the streets of Bolton and Farnworth.
He was eventually chased down with the help of a police helicopter.
Afsar, of Rawson Street, Farnworth, was given a year's prison sentence.
Daniel Hobson, 20, led police on an 80mph chase while driving an Audi.
The chase eventually came to an end after he crashed into a wall.
Hobson, of Stanier Place, Horwich, was sent to a young offenders institute for 16 months.
