A driver has been reported to court after allegedly leaving a car parked with no insurance and exposed cord on the front tyre.

Police officers from Greater Manchester Police’s traffic division say that the VW Touran on Chorley Old Road also had an expired test certificate.

As of Thursday March 7, the car has now been seized and the driver reported to court.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Our officers are out supporting Operation Classify on the Bolton division.

“Just stopped this VW Touran on Chorley Old Road.

“No insurance, expired test certificate and exposed cord on the front tyre.

“Car has been seized S165 and the driver reported to court for all offences.”
