A junction where a multi-vehicle crash took place - in which one car went through a garden wall - is to be to looked at by highways officers.
The crash happened on Darwen Road and The Bolton New understands it involved three vehicles on the junction of Guild Street.
The impact shunted one car into a garden wall and left other vehicles badly damaged.
Police closed off the road as they dealt with the aftermath, it is understood no serious injuries were caused in the smash on February 26.
One driver said the crash had left them shaken.
There have been complaints about the junction before.
Now local councillor Cllr Nadim Muslim is due to meet the resident whose wall the car went into along with highways officers.
He said: “I know the resident said it had happened before and I am meeting them with highways officers to see if junction improvements need to be made to look at it and if we need markings and new signage to make it clear that you have got to give way.
“Hopefully we will have a better understanding of why this is happening.

“I think sometimes that side streets can get congested and that can affect visibility so we will make sure to have a meeting to get the professional opinion on what might be the causes of this.”
