A 26-year-old man has been charged after a car was stolen in Breightmet and a "large amount" of cocaine was found.
Liam Booth, of Snow Hill Road, Darcy Lever, will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday, charged with a number of offences after the theft of the car and the coin machine at a petrol station jet wash being broken into in Farnworth.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) also said a "large amount" of cocaine was recovered during the investigation.
A spokesperson for GMP Bolton North said: "Following an investigation by the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team, Liam Booth (28/07/1997) of Snow Hill Road, Darcy Lever, has been charged with the following offences:

"Theft from an automatic machine, theft of a motor vehicle, Fraud by false representation, theft from a motor vehicle [and] possession with intent to supply cocaine.
"These charges relate to reports of a machine that was broken into in the Farnworth area and a car that was stolen from the Breightmet area.
"During the investigation, a large amount of cocaine was recovered.
"He has been remanded in police custody to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court tomorrow (04/03/24)."
